Your Eyes Open

The new year has come and gone. Much has happened since my last update, more than I care to bore you with. But rest assure, there was much eating, sleeping, opening of presents and hanging out with loved ones. Now, almost 20 days into '06 I find myself staring at an open textbook and wondering if May will ever come. I'm ready to graduate, despite the fact that I have no idea what the future holds. It's funny that almost 15 years ago I would have told you without hesitation that I was going to be a marine biologist, work at Sea World and spend the rest of my life swimming with whales. But now, things have changed. Now, I wait for an answer, for an open door, for a sign of where and what I am suppose to do with the rest of my life. I know this much, I want it to mean something. I want it to fulfilling and I want to look back in another 15 years and smile, knowing that my time was well spent. But for now I wait...

Sounds like something worth waiting for. I'm sure you'll find the good things you deserve.
