Among Shattered Glass

We Are

Raise your hand if you wore camo as a kid! Seriously, how embarrassing is this photo. My mom insisted on sending this to me one year, apparently as a reminder of what a huge dork I am. Lol! Check out my shades...talk about being fashionable. I would definitely get some looks if I wore those shades while driving. Oh the insanity! Question: what's one of your most embarrassing childhood stories? Dare you write them on the blog?

Awww, Nicole that picture is SO CUTE! Seriously, you are adorable! I had some glasses kind of like those, but mine were stars instead of hearts. Very kindergarden chic, no?

I don't remember doing this, but it is a story that my parents insist on telling me over and over again. I guess when I was two or three I mooned a police officer. Yup, that's right. Christina, the exhibitionist. I was with my parents and grandpa at a police station (I have no idea why we were at a police station, but it was nothing bad I promise.) I guess I had to go to the bathroom and so I just pulled my pants down right then and there in front of the cop. My mom says that my grandpa was incredibly embarrssed, but hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go, right?

Nice! I have a similar story, except without the police officer and I think I was older. Lol! My dad always brings it up and it still, to this day, embarrasses me.

It's easy! How about, for starters: "Oh, I was busy and I just hadn't gotten around to it," or "I'm sorry," or "Well, I hate you and you smell bad," or "Your blog is boring and I'm not interested enough to read it." Really, any excuse would have worked. :P

Just for the record, my dad said that I not only looked tough dressed in my camo, but that I acted pretty tough too. I can only imagine the fear that I caused people to have while wearing those sun glasses...oh, scary!
